About Vikrant rona:

Vikrant Rona is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action-adventure thriller film written and directed by Anoop Bhandari, produced by Jack Manjunath and co-produced by Alankar Pandian.

Vikrant Rona was released in theaters on July 28, 2022, and digitally on September 2, 2022, on ZEE5. The film received mixed to negative reviews from critics but became the third highest grossing Kannada film at the time of release.

It stars Sudeepa with Nirup Bhandari, Neeta Ashok and Jacqueline Fernandez in the title role. The story revolves around Inspector Vikrant Rona, who reaches a remote village in the middle of a tropical rainforest where he witnesses a series of supernatural events.

Vishwanath Ballal, son of Janardan’s friend, comes to the village with his wife and two children Aparna ‘Panna’ and Mohanchandra ‘Munna’.

An angry landlord Janardan Gambira lives with his wife Santha “Shaku” and his brother Eknath in Kamrottu village in Karnataka.

This is because his son Sanjeev “Sanju” stole the ornaments from the village temple 28 years ago. At night, Sanju from London reaches the village where he meets Panna, who finds with him the mutilated body of a police officer named Suresh Krishna in the well of the house.

Vishwanath tells Janardhan that Panna is engaged to Rakesh and wants to arrange a wedding at their ancestral Kamarottu’s house, but Janardhan refuses as the house is haunted by Brahmarakshas.

After this incident, Inspector Vikrant reaches Rona village for investigation, where an attempt is made to kill him, but Vikrant manages to escape. After assuming command, Vikrant reaches Kamrottu’s house where, after inspecting the well, he finds the dead policeman’s handbag, with a 1-pound note inside.
