About this movie:

Guru Prasad joined Amark, an IT company in Chennai, as a team leader. Guru is indifferent to his team members, but arouses the interest of Harini, an HR manager, who is also a newcomer. At the end of the working day, everyone leaves, except the Guru, who is given an important task by the VP, and several security guards. After completing his work, Guru tries to use the lift. However, it turns bad and he ends up on a random floor. He encounters several paranormal incidents and later sees a security guard commit suicide by slitting his throat.

A timid master tries to escape, but is repeatedly thwarted. He later encounters Harini, who was locked up in the record room at the time. She initially suspects Guru of locking her up, but changes her mind after encountering unusual incidents in the elevator. Harini and Guru try to escape together, but fail again and again. He encounters another security guard, who later hangs himself while trying to verify his identity. The pair later see a news report (dated the next day) which claims that they were both killed in a fire in the office building. Harini revealed that she was locked in the record room after attempting to destroy several old files at the behest of the VP. After several encounters with paranormal phenomena, they come to the conclusion that there are two ghosts in the building, not one.

The Guru plans to survive, but the deer is possessed. The ghost taunts Guru and tells him that both he and Harini will die in the fire that night. The Guru learns that the ghosts can only subdue them if they are the voice of the mind, and smokes a cigarette with a medicine, making sure that the deer also inhales the smoke. Due to this the ghost is no longer able to keep the deer with him. In the process, Guru even set the record room on fire. Guru saves Harini, and the pair go back to the lift. The master, at first, had partially cut through the elevator’s cables, and the pair jump up and down the elevator to make the elevator fall. Harini survives the fall, but Guru is seriously injured and almost dies. The couple is rescued by emergency responders.

While Guru is still unconscious, he confuses the story of the two ghosts. Sundar and his fiancée Tara, worked in the same company as Guru and Harini, and were in fact the predecessors of their positions. When the greedy VP kicks out Sundar to take credit for his work, Sundar commits suicide in the lift by slitting his throat. VP attempts to disguise her death as an accident, but Tara hides the file in the record room and hangs herself to make sure VP doesn’t know where she is. Two security guards (who are later forced to commit suicide by ghosts) help VP hide the death.

Guru wakes up, and is visited by the company’s new VP, who tries to threaten him and Harini to keep quiet. Guru refuses to comply and gives the file that Tara hid to the police officer in charge of the investigation. The police officer tells Guru that three bodies were found in the burnt office building: two security guards, and the VP who had driven Sundar and Tara to their deaths.

The film ends with news articles detailing the exploitation of employees in the IT industry, and how many of them have been driven to suicide because of their employers’ treatment.
