About this movie:

The film was produced by Dharma Productions and Kash Entertainment with Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah and Himanshu Gandhi as producers. Sidharth Malhotra plays dual roles of Batra and his twin brother Vishal, while Kiara Advani plays his girlfriend Dimple Cheema.

On August 31, 2021, Amazon declared that Shershaah has become the most viewed Indian film on the platform in India.

Shershaah (translated “Lion King”) is a 2021 Indian Hindi language biographical war film based on the life of Kargil war martyr Vikram Batra and directed by Vishnuvardhan in his Hindi film debut and written by Sandeep Srivastava.

Shershaah received positive reviews from both critics and audiences. The performances (especially Malhotra and Advani), direction, music, cinematography, action sequences, editing and visual effects have received critical acclaim. However, the letter has been criticized.

Sidharth Malhotra ([sɪˈd̪ʱːaːrt̪ʰ məlˈɦoːt̪raː]; born 16 January 1985) is an Indian actor working in Hindi films.

Malhotra starred in commercially successful films such as Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Ek Villain (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016). After a career slump, he received praise for his starring role as Vikram Batra in the war film Shershaah (2021).

She began her career as a model but left to pursue an acting career. He made his acting debut in 2009 with a small role in the TV series Dharti Ka Veer Yoddha Prithviraj Chauhan before assisting director Karan Johar in the 2010 film My Name is Khan. Her first leading role was in Johar’s teenage film Student of the Year (2012).

Malhotra was born and raised in a Punjabi Hindu family in Delhi, India,[4] to Sunil, a former merchant marine captain, and Rimma Malhotra, a homemaker. He attended Don Bosco School in Delhi and attended Naval Public School and graduated from Delhi University Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.

She started modeling at the age of 18. Although he was successful, he decided to quit the job after four years because he was dissatisfied with the job.
