About Bunty aur Babli:

A sequel to the 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli, starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutante Sharvari Wagh.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a 2021 Indian Hindi language crime comedy drama film written and directed by debutant Varun V Sharma, based on a story by producer Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner.

Originally slated for June 2020 and then April 2021, the film was delayed both times due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. It was eventually released theatrically on November 19, 2021.

A businessman named Chaddha (Neeraj Sood) and his wealthy associates decide to invest money in a “party nation” from Chaddha’s assistant and his friend.

However, it soon turns out that Chaddha and his associates have been tricked and turn out to be the culprits, Kunal Singh (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Sonia Rawat (Sharvari Wagh) hearing the alias “Bunty Aur Babli”.

Sixteen years have passed since Rakesh Trivedi (Saif Ali Khan) and his wife Vimmi Saluja Trivedi (Rani Mukerji) were abandoned by DCP Dashrath Singh and swindled others out of money using the Bunty Aur Babli brand.

The stories of the original “Bunty Aur Babli” that never caught on, provided they would even escape the clutches of the law.

Very soon, they are hidden by the police, where Inspector Jatayu Singh, who previously served as JCP Dashrath’s junior, refuses to take his word for it after confronting them with a “Bunty Aur Babli” nuisance and putting them under prison guard holds.

Since then, Rakesh has been a ticket collector in Fursatganj, Uttar Pradesh, and Vimmi, a housewife, takes care of her now eldest son Pappu.
