About Go Goa Gone:

This is the first Indian zombie film. Go Goa Gone was successful at the box office. It received mixed reviews, but was praised for its pacing, editing, and use of zombies, although the screenplay and other work drew criticism. A sequel, titled Go Goa Gone 2, is slated for release in 2023.

Go Goa Gone is a 2013 Indian language zombie action comedy film directed by Raj and D.K. The film stars are Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari and Pooja Gupta. It was released on May 10, 2013, almost a third of the film was shot in Mauritius.

After Hardik loses his job and Luv is dumped by his girlfriend, the two decide to go to Goa with Bunny to rest. In Goa, Luv falls in love with Luna (Pooja Gupta) and she invites people to a rave party organized by the Russian mafia on a remote island.

Hardik (Kunal Khemu) and Luv (Vir Das) are two young men who live with their roommate/boyfriend Bunny (Anand Tiwari).

A new drug, D2RF, was launched at the party. None of the friends take it because it’s too expensive.

A Russian mafia Boris (Saif Ali Khan), originally from Delhi, arrives and turns out to be a zombie killer.

The next morning, three housemates find the island has been invaded by zombies, and the three rescue Luna from her mansion and live together in hopes of survival.

Boris tells them that due to the cyclical nature of water currents, the boat will return to its original position. However, the boat was taken over by a zombie.

They find a completely empty house and decide to stay there. Boris leaves the four at home, saying he has an important job at Nikolai.

Boris, his partner Nikolai, the three boys and Luna plan to use the boat they used to escape the island. After escaping the jungle, they eventually learn that the mainland has also been invaded by zombies, forcing them to find another way to survive.
