About Bullet train movie:

It is based on the 2010 novel Maria Beetle (titled Bullet Train in the UK and US versions), written by Kotaro Isaka and translated by Sam Malissa.

The second novel in Isaka’s Hitman trilogy, whose first novel was the first. Was published as a 2015 Japanese film. The grasshopper was adapted.

Bullet Train is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by David Leach, with a screenplay by Jack Olkewicz, starring Brad Pitt and produced by Antoine Fuqua, who originally conceived the film.

The film also stars a supporting cast including Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny and Sandra Bullock.

Pitt portrays a reluctant assassin who has to do battle with other assassins while riding in a fictionalized version of the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train.

Filming began in November 2020 in Los Angeles and was completed in March 2021. Bullet Train premiered in Paris on July 18, 2022 and was released in cinemas in the United States by Sony Pictures Releasing on August 5, 2022.

The film was a box office success, grossing $239.3 million worldwide from a production budget of approximately $90 million. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

His mentor, Maria Beetle, is assigned to retrieve a briefcase from the same train after a previous contract, led by agent “Ladybug”, called Carver ill. Ladybug hesitates because her recent bad luck at work has resulted in accidental deaths.

In Tokyo, Yuichi Kimura seeks revenge after pushing his son Wataru off a roof and boarding a bullet train in search of the attacker.
