A very popular card game with young and old alike. Uno’s goal is to get rid of all of his cards UNO.

To win, you will need to score 500 points or vice versa, i.e. be the player with the lowest score when one of the players exceeds 500 points.

How many cards are there in Uno?

To play Uno, you need to deal 108 cards:

  • 19 blue cards, from 0 to 9 (2 for each digit except 0)
  • 19 cards in red, numbered from 0 to 9 (except 0 for each digit)
  • 19 yellow cards, numbered from 0 to 9 (2 for each number except 0)
  • 19 cards in green, numbered from 0 to 9 (except 0 for each digit)
  • And special papers:

8 “+2” cards, (2 of each color)
8 “Reversal of Meaning” cards, (2 for each color)
8 “skip your turn” cards (2 of each color)
4 “Joker” cards

Power of One special card:

“+2” card:

When a player plays this card, the next player must draw 2 cards and discard their turn, even if it is the first card at the start of the game.

“Inversion of meaning” card:

When a player plays this card, the direction of the game is reversed. If the game was going clockwise, it would go counterclockwise.

Even if it is the first card at the start of the game, it should be taken into consideration.

“Skip your turn” card:

When a player plays this card, next player skips his turn. Even if it is the first card at the start of the game, it should be taken into consideration.

“Jolly” card:

When a player plays this card, he may or may not choose to change the color by announcing it to the other players. If it is the first card at the start of the game, the first player chooses the color.

Card “+4”:

When a player plays this card, the next player must draw 4 cards and skip their turn.

Also, the player who owns this card can choose whether to change the color or not. But be careful, this card can only be played if the player has no other solution.

If a player decides to bluff and gets caught, he will be penalized.

How to play Uno:


First, one of the players deals 7 cards each. The remaining cards serve as a draw deck.

To begin, the player to whom the card is dealt turns over the top card of the deck and the player on the left begins the game.

He must cover the card of the deck with a card of the same color, same number or same symbol.

If the player cannot play, he has the option of placing a “Joker” or “+4” card.

In case the player has none of these cards, he must draw a. If this card can be played, he can hold it upright, otherwise he must put it in his deck.

When a player has only one card, he must shout “One” to warn all the other players. If he forgets to do this and a player notices it, he must draw 2 penalty cards.

The first player to get rid of all his cards wins. So you need to count the points:

  • The “+2” card is worth 20 points.
  • “Reversal of Meaning” card is 20 points.

  • The “Joker” card is worth 50 points.
