Dreams of a Shopaholic!

Dreams of a Shopaholic!

As you may know, I have mentioned it a few times – ha ha, the Roversi’s are going to Australia for three weeks at the end of July. Preparations have begun for this and that includes trying to decide what clothes to take! I difficult task for any female! Pre Mini R I loved shopping, wandering around browsing, trying lovely clothes on and stopping for lunch – it was bliss! With a toddler, its more like dashing about trying to find something in the quickest time possible, whilst feeding him to keep him happy and there is definitely no trying on!

In addition to having a toddler, I’m a bit up and down with my weight at the moment and hoping to lose some weight before I go but I’ve been browsing the World Wide Web in search of some pretty dresses, to satisfy the shopaholic in me, that will be perfect for my travels to the other side of the world. Obviously, with paying for the holiday, the cheaper the better so I’ve been scouring the sales, figuring out how to spend my birthday money wisely!

I’ve come up with a wish list and I’m hoping that, if I shut my eyes and wish on every star in the sky, they’ll magically appear in my wardrobe! 🙂

I love Dorothy Perkins, their clothes are good quality, class and affordable. Luckily they currently have a great sale! Whoop! Here’s a few items I picked out for my wish list!

I love this Tenki Blue Parrot Flower Wrap Dress (left). The style is perfect for my body shape with the V-Neck to compliment my big boobs and a floaty bottom half to cover my ‘mum tum’ that I hate. Anything with a belt makes me look more shapely and slimmer because it gives me a waist.

Another wrap dress (can you tell I like a wrap dress?! Ha!). I love the sleeves on this Ivory and Navy Ditsy Floral Fit and Flare Dress (right)! For those days when I feel more self conscious about my possible bingo wings! The print and style is pretty and girlie. Perfect with sandals for a day look or wedges for night! Soo pretty!

I love tops like this and this Woman’s Black Cami Top (left) is only £10! Came tops are so comfortable because they’re not too fitted and go with skirts, shorts and jeans. Perfect for dressing up or down. I have a few of these and I am looking for some more for my holiday. The print on this one caught my attention and I’m always happy wearing black because it covers many sins! 🙂

Whilst scouring the sales, I also came across a French Connection sale, so naturally I had to take a peek!

I imagine this Isabella Maxi Beach Dress (right) to be very cool on a holiday in warmer climes! I really do think it’s beautiful: i love the neck line, the print, the slit up the side and the fact that the bottom is more see through that the top! At £50, down from £79, I think it’s a complete bargain! I have to wonder whether I’d look as good in it as the model!

There’s nothing I love more than a tea dress and this French Connection Jersey Tea Dress In Dove Print (right) it soon pretty I think it needs to be in my wardrobe! It’s black and white with little pink doves on it which I like because it’s got some colour without being too much. The tea dress style is something I’m really comfortable in and flatters my curvy figure.

I could waste an entire afternoon looking through the sales online…thanks to Mini R I don’t get the chance very often but I’m loving these bargains. Now I’m off to cross my fingers and pluck out an eyelash to wish on in hope they end up in my wardrobe when I open it tomorrow 🙂

Check out the links, have you found anything you like?
