I just wanted to take a moment to express my sadness at the events that happened in Paris last night.
I woke up this morning, kissed my husband goodbye as he went to work, played with and dressed my son and walked to my Mums to see her for an hour. I am lucky. I can only imagine what it must be like for loved ones of the deceased this morning as they struggle to come to terms with the loss of the family member or friend. Or those that have been injured and need time to recover, physically and mentally.
I’m not someone who is worldly wise, nor do I have a lot of knowledge about religion or politics, but what I do know is that killing people, for whatever reason, is wrong. No one has the right to take someone life from them. It’s that simple.
Today isn’t a day for writing about snot on my jeans, melt downs at tea time or anything else of that variety.
Today my thoughts will be with Paris. #PrayingForParis
